RUSSIA REMOVED IMPORT RESTRICTIONS WITH TURKEY

In 10th of October, during the Energy and Security Congress in Turkey, Russia has declared restrictions will be removed on various products including citrus, which Russia used to import from Turkey and the export of Turkey to Russia will be continue. Putin informed that, apart from citrus and tomatoe, other fresh fruit and vegetables have also opened to Russian market and the prices in Russia will be significantly dropping in Russian market after the import from Turkey begins.

Putin also shared that after the change of the restrictions, with the import opportunity from Turkey, it will mean that the Russian market will be open for Turkish partners and reminded that in 2015 the trading volüme of those products used to be 500 million USD.
